Fort Mill brewery closes doors, auctioning equipment

This Fort Mill brewery has closed up shop after just over three years.

Full Spectrum Brewing Co. shuttered its taproom last month, says owner Charles Bergman.

It was located on Carolina Place Drive, across from Baxter Village. It was Fort Mill’s first brewery when in August 2015.

An auction of Full Spectrum’s assets is underway via New Mill Capital, a national asset disposition firm.

That includes a 30-barrel brewhouse, multiple fermenting and brite tanks as well as a two-barrel brewhouse and other related brewing equipment.

That auction runs through 11 a.m. on Oct. 30.

“We’re very happy and excited about the sale of the brewery. Cheers to the next chapter!” Bergman says.

He declined further comment.

Full Spectrum produced 1,100 barrels in 2017, according to CBJ’s list of Charlotte’s largest craft breweries, compiled earlier this year.
